Smart Processes software is proprietary software of Smart Processes.

Smart Processes is commercially available under 2(two) types of licensing:

• proprietary license

• subscription license

Proprietary License

A proprietary license entitles the license holder to a lifetime right to use the software according to the license terms and conditions.

A proprietary license is not transferable.

There are several licenses that provide access to Smart Processes features and allow quantity of users to work in Smart Processes.

Smart Processes Server License.

Smart Processes Server License provides access to all software features, allowing a single server installation. The license includes 5(five) named user licenses. Additional user licenses should be bought in the case of additional users.

This license includes 1(one), site license, namely Main Site.

In a Smart Processes implementation, minimally is required a server license.

Smart Processes Named User License

A Smart Processes Named User License, allows 1(one) user to access Smart Processes.

For cost optimization, we provide license packs with different numbers user licenses.

User License Packs Available:

• Smart Processes 10(ten) Named Users License Pack (SPUsrLicPack10)

User Licenses are accumulative.

Site Licenses

In most cases Site licenses are not required.

Smart Processes organizes users in two ways:

·   Roles - Based on the user functional role in the organization. Roles are organized in a hierarchical manner like an organization chart.

·   Sites – Based on the company branch they work on

If there is the need for using the company branches as objects, then a Site License is required for each company branch.

The example below illustrates a case where Sites are needed.

Bank My Bank is using Smart Processes to manage customer loan applications. Only loan agents working in the bank site where the application is taken have read access to the customer applications, but only the agent following the case can modify the file.

In this case a site object is necessary because to set a different permission for users with the same functional role, ex. Loan Agent, working in the same geographical site with the user owning the process case, ex. Loan Application, we should configure a site. Thus, a site license is required.

Site Licenses are accumulative.

 Subscription License

Subscription licenses provide the end user the right to use hosted Smart Processes for a period of time.

Licenses are user based.

Prices vary on the number of users and subscription period.

Subscription prices are published on the hosted Smart Processes website.

At the end of the subscription period, users are given a grace period of 3(three) months to download their data from their Smart Processes instance. At the end of this period the Smart Processes instance will automatically be deleted including all data and attachments.

Smart Processes assists customers on their landing process as well as when they decide to not renew Smart Processes subscription.
